Harper asleep on Gigi's lap. 4 months.

Sitting here, after three days of surprisingly tasty dairy free Thanksgiving, my child finally asleep after a couple hours of teething and screaming, Iron Chef America in on in the background and I am nothing but thankful. Thankful for my beautiful daughter who turned four months old yesterday and my husband so lovingly rocking said baby as he lulls in and out of his food coma. Thankful for the three dogs curled up on the couch beside me and the family and friends who have gathered here together to celebrate just how much we have to be thankful for this year. For health, for love, for a cute little 50s bungalow to call a roof over our heads.



Another thing I am thankful for this year, is this space and the people who validate it's existence with their feedback and questions. This is you.   3. What a lovely baby (makes me wish mine were young again!). I am follower #140 on GFC. I am most thankful this year for my mom. Last year at this time she underwent an operation to remove 1/3 of her lung due to lung cancer. 1 year later she is doing really well and has had great check-ups every 3 months all year long!
