A few days ago, a really awesome lady and photographer who I admire, contacted me (along with a bunch of other camera wielding people all over the globe) and asked us to consider participating in Hugs from Henry.

This is Lucas. Isn't he just adorable? Lucas has down syndrome and was recently hospitalized for a serious , fast- acting respiratory infection that could have taken this little boy from his mama, his father and his sister. In addition to this scary situation, he has to attend physical therapy to help him fight to achieve milestones, such as walking, that often come easily for other children. Because of this his family has incurred a seemingly never ending pile of medical bills.

Henry is Lucas's sock monkey and to help his family diffuse the costs of these medical bills, his sock monkey will be traveling the globe, visiting various photographers. These pictures will then be compiled into a book and proceeds will go to offset the medical bills this sweet sweet little boy has accrued.
