I don't intend to jump ship and leave this poor lonely little blog clinging to a buoy in open water wondering if I really meant it when I said "Just hang on, I'll be back in a minute". So here I am to divulge what I've been up, I came back for you, I just got caught up trying to make my dreams come true.

That's right I started my own photography endeavor, Happiness is... Photography. This past month has been filed with website building, content creation and deciding which pictures I would like to be part of my portfolio. Now I've moved onto outreach and creating marketing materials. Mom by day, barista by night, photographer by light (and grad student in the wee hours of the night by the glow of my laptop screen). Now, I am starting to book sessions and its sort of materializing, which is scary and exciting. I will post a link to the HIP blog when I get it up running and all pretty.
