"So long sweet summer, I fell into you, now you're gracefully falling away" - Dashboard Confessional

Sunday was my last official day of summer. School started for me last Wednesday and I went back to work last night. This summer has been so lovely and profound that I really didn't want to see it start to slowly fade into fall, although the heat the last few days is reminding me of the cooler weather that is to come, which is welcome. This summer has been full of friends, family, beach bonfires, birthdays, vacations, adventures, sleep, the sure beginning of a quarter life crisis, hopes, fears and dreams. In short I wish it would never end but thus it has. Nothing is forever, isn't that how the saying goes?

  1. I haven't seen your precious baby in a while, looks like you are all doing good :)

  2. That picture of Harper and Grandma is so adorable! But you need a picture of the 4 generations... Grandma, Mom, Rachel, and Harper!

  3. I'm glad I'm not the only one in blogging world who is mourning the loss of summer and all the carefree(ness) that goes with it. While everyone else is welcoming fall, I always dread this transition time of the year. Hopefully, the change is going good for you! :)
