"Hold on, man. We don't go anywhere with "scary," "spooky," "haunted," or "forbidden" in the title." -Shaggy Rogers

There are few things I love more than repurposing things I have laying around, especially things I would have thrown away or recycled without a project for them. This is one of those projects. I wanted to do something with Harper that she hadn't done yet so since she had never done any painting and I had a whole lot of glass jars left over we decided to have a DIY Jack O'Lantern day.

Materials: Acrylic Paint, sharpie, glass gar and a paintbrush (not pictured).

How To:
  1. Paint your lid
  2. Paint your jars. 2 light coats should do. The purpose of this is to allow light to shine through the paint.
  3. Draw or paint on your faces. I drew mine on because I'm not so good with the painting. After I took picture and the marker had dried, I went over it a second time.
  4. Put either a tea light candle or a flameless tea light inside.

PS: Don't forget to enter the book giveaway for your chance to win The Repurposed Library!
