1.What’s your story?
I'm Azadeh, a mother, make-up artist, skin care junkie, and kitchen witch. I'm a newly minted vegetarian and am aiming for veganism. I have always been creative, having been addicted to Martha Stewart's TV show and magazine back in my teenage years; painting and decoupaging picture frames, making beeswax roll candles as Christmas presents, and painting the faces in my sister's YM magazine. This lead to my work as a make-up artist, which segued to falling in love with and selling skincare, and subsequently adding jewelry to my creative outlet.
2. When, how and why did you decide to make what you make?
I used to have a small bath & body shop on etsy. After being tired of how I would have to take over my whole kitchen for 2 or 3 hours just to make a couple bars of soap, I invested some of my proceeds into purchasing jewelry supplies. I started making jewelry that *I* would wear in the hopes that others liked what I liked. There has been a lot of growth, non-stop growth in fact, with this shop. Learning how to write up descriptions, finalizing Shop Policies, investing time and energy into photography (and a new camera), tagging, etc. It is definitely a labour of love!
3. What inspires you?
I'm inspired by trends, textures, and colours. I love putting my own spin on vintage designs and current trends.

5: What is your creative process?
Just like a writer, some days I hit a creative block and I can't make any jewelry. On those days I simply fill orders and maybe re-shoot an older listing that needs fresh pictures. Some times the creative process hits me just as I'm about to sit down to watch a movie and I will sit down and crank out 4 or 5 new designs! Those are very fulfilling moments as I get to create something while my son is tucked away in bed. I can't wait for the morning so I can photograph the pieces to list on Etsy! Sometimes I have had beads and findings for months before the inspiration to create something with them strikes. :)
6: Which season is your favorite and why?
Summer. It is warm, sunny, hot. I love dresses and being barefoot. Summer is far too short!
7: Do you dream in color?
I do dream in colour. From what I remember of my dreams it is rare for the colours to be vivid, but more washed out and pastel. I wish I remembered more of my dreams though!
